On that particular morning when tp came for her usual visits, we settled in Sun Wong for lunch. After the usual brunch, we decided to use the toilet in the restaurant as the one in pg block was particularly very wet and water was leaking from above.

That was when i was locked in the toilet.

Tried turning the knob for a few times but the latch doesn't seem to move in as you turn it. So wawa went and get a lady and she said that it was impossible that it cant be opened. And so she tried and failed apparently. Then another lady came in ( i was guessing, but dunno whether got or not la...cause i cant see what) with a key trying to open the lock.

I tried telling them again and again that it is not because of the lock but the latch. But somehow the more i talked the more times they tried to unlock it with the key.

And sooooo, i took a picture of the latch from the inside and bluetoothed to wawa. Then she showed it to them. Then they are only convinced it wasn't because of the lock but the latch. And finally they called one of their male colleagues to break down the door. After that, the lady who tried to unlock it previously, tried the knob again.

okay, nevermind. I'm only glad that i was out of the toilet.

Thoughts:

Both movies are pretty okay eventhough i feel that AWEL was a lot better in terms of humour and plotwise. I feel that both movies are not worth watching in cinemas and they don't really deserve a re-watch.

Actually i was hoping that wedding game would be much nicer than AWEL. But it turns out that AWEL is better than wedding game. If you ask me, i would say wedding game was sort of very predictable. If you want to know, just go watch it or ask *cough* somebody *cough* else. I don't want to have the honour of spoiling it for you unless i'm being very cheeky. hehe.

Story time

Just watched bedtime stories with the sot k backsides. Actually we watched it a few days ago already. But due to my stiffness of not blogging for quite some time, i didn't know how to start. Yeah, i know. So damn lame. (=_=)

Overall the plot/storyline was quite average to me la. It's is no doubt funny but i feel that it is actually still a bit flat despite the frequents humour and a bit of other things. Unrealistic should be the word. And we all know most Disney movies carries that element within them. But somehow this movie feel really nostalgic. It touches on childhood i guess, a part in which i have grown out of it.

Okay, i shall stop babbling before this post become meaningless.

Inactive from now on

Went and watch "the day the earth stood still" in 1u on Friday sementara to celebrate mummy winx's birthday.

Coming back to the topic, the movie was quite monotonous, flat, and boring. Felt quite dissatisfied after watching it though. I'm serious! Look here, Keanu reeves is in the show. The title sounds good. The poster look nice. And the description said that it's an alien invasion kinda thingy. Obviously it has to be somewhat special right?

But noooooooo, the movie just has to slapped us with beautiful effects but less content. I mean, I'm sitting there waiting for something to happen and it just didn't. So overall rating I'll give a 4/10.

After that, went to NZX full house for dinner. Full house was overall a nice place to eat. Wait, dont get me wrong. I meant the environment was great. The place was decorated with a cute mini cooper and it gives you a sense of garden weddings. However, the food is only so-so. And the price is expensive too. Never, never, never try to order the spagettis. They come in small porportion. If you are a light eater, it's most probably enough for you. But even so, i would prefer you to go for something else instead.

After dinner, went to walk around the place and visited this disney place (forgot what's the actual name for the event). Paid about Rm10 for the entry ticket and started to explore/take pics/play games and so on. Oh ya, the entry ticket can also be used for redemption, e.g mug.

My friends would be having a year's end and new year's party on the 31st and 1st though. Pretty sad to say i might not be joining. But then again, i'm not sure. My blog will be inactive for several days as i wont be around for a while now.

Went out with jazs, wawa, frankie and chicken to watch the movie IP man last night at 11.30. But we only went in at about 11.45 i think.

I only got 2 words to say about this movie:

"Must watch!"

The kung fu stances are all great!It just leaves you hungry for more!

The plot/storyline is nice too!!! Heck i might even buy the original DVD (providing if it's cheap. 20-ish i can still consider)

Ahhh...i feel like wanna watch again. *hint* *hint*

Movie soundtracks

Well, i never really a sucker for movie soundtracks. Even if i do usually it's only one or two songs which caught my interest. However this is the first time i have 2 albums! Both are from the recently broadcast movie : Twilight.

The songs are not particular great. Somehow i like them because these songs are able to generate the mood of the movie. It's like when you listen to this particular piece, you be able to recall parts of the movie.

And the genre of the songs are well balance. Not too heavy rock, not too moody. And I'm quite surprised to know that Robert Pattison ( Edward Cullen) had written and sung two songs for this movie as well ( i read this somewhere but don't know it's the truth or not la). He really didn't struck me as the singing type though.

Another outing

heh. Just watch another animation movie entitled storm riders : clash of evils with jazs and taipoh.

Thoughts:

For me, the animation along with the storyline and plots are quite okay. I wasnt expecting anything since i dont really know bout the storyline and stuff. The last storm rider movie that i watched was the one which came out in 1998. I love the fighting scenes and effects the most. So pretty. I dont really know how to put it into words. But it's quite different from animes like naruto and bleach.

Anyway, i find the flow was pretty smooth. The elements of fighting and romance are well balanced. And...

er...

i ran out of things to say.

It was a nice outing with great company. It would be nicer if my exams are earlier. Having 2 weeks of study break sounds so wasting. I would rather finish earlier and enjoy more.

Cant get enough of vampires?

Just watched twilight with the gang on Saturday. Love it! Been thinking of buying the book when i was halfway through the movie ^^

I had lost count when i last saw a vampire movie. Wait, is there one?

Anyway, i'm glad it's not the typical kind of vampire movie where good guys will destroy the bad monsters. I never like buffy the vampire slayer too much because i feel that each episode is quite routine-ish.

At least this movie is somewhat different. And no, it's not because of the good looking actors and actresses. I like it so much because it's more towards the perspective of a girl towards the vampire and also how she come to accept the reality. So it's pretty refreshing that it's not focus totally on killing monsters and stuff.

I didnt know twilight was so so nice although i still have a lil interest in the book beforehand. And that interest was diminished instantly when i heard that Miss Kang is holding onto jojo's book. You want to know why? Try being in line after her in borrowing books. You'll learn the reason involuntary.

You hear me Miss Kang? Please return asap so i can read it =p

Max Pain

Just watched max payne last nite. ^^

The show like shit. So shitty until it was such a pain to watch. Dont watch please. Not nice wan. I was so bored and sien. Waited for the movie to finish. But like tak habis habis. It's like rewatching the death of ian stone but only better by a little.

Seriously lor, throughout the first quarter of the show, i didnt know what the hell is going on. Then when they finally revealed something, i realised how lame it was. Super duper lame. Wasted money only.

Actually want to watch eagle eye wan, but dont have tickets so settle for max payne instead.

Anyway, went to watch Ah Long Pte Ltd with Jasmine, Frankie, Xiao Ji Ji(Chicken), Tee Heng, Woan Wa and Alwin.

Before going for the movie, there seems to be some miscommunication with Alwin.

Frankie told him we are watching the movie in mv.

Dunno what the happen or how it happen, somehow he ended up in....

Whereas the rest of us were waiting for him in mv.

He said he thought it was one U.

Sweat kau kau i tell you.

Back to the movie, it was a good one though the plot is average to me. There is a lot of funny scenes along the way and we really had a good laugh.

I really salute mark lee for acting as an "ah gua". He really good wei. And he acted like he is really an ah gua. lol. Fann Wong is also very "yeng". She got the macho-ness right. The style and attitude all really resembles those loan sharks. Really good movie. Go watch if you havent!

After movie ah, suppose to go home one. But Alwin was saying he haven eat yet so we teman him to eat. We managed to persuade woan wa to eat her ikan bakar also. ^^v

While they were eating, we discussed bout the assignment thingy like group members and all those stuff la.
