Absence

Well, if you noticed, i havent been online lately and i also broke my record of blog updates-everyday. That is because after oh-so-long-of-using-macky, i decided to let it have a rest. The poor guy simply become emo after it gets too hotttttttt.

Planning to bring macky back to apple store again and was hoping can get a new macky instead. My sista said her friend changed his iphone for a new one after having so many problems. That was uk. This is Malaysia. Do you think it'll work that way?

Updates :

Brought it back to the apple store and they ran a computer check up kononnya. Seems like the beeping sound and the restart problem are probably due to the RAM/motherboard. They are not so sure yet. If there is really a problem, they will change a new one for me according to them lah. So at meantime macky will be with them for quite a while, bout 4 to 5 days at least.

Well, sorry for the lack of presence in msn/skype because i was too busy er...erm...gaming. You cant blame me. I've been waiting for this game since march. The english version was supposed to be release somewhere in October but it got delayed until November. Now that it's out, i should play more so that i wont forsake the times i waited and also another 2 more hours of downloading the game. You see? I definitely should play more right?

Right.

That's why i havent been sign into msn/skype since sunday. Yeah, i know what you want to say. I can chat and play at the same time right? Yup, i can do that. But the game will lag. A lot. I dont like a lagging game. It's frustrating, nerve breaking and so on. I mean nobody likes a game that lags right? Get my point? lol.

Just give me some time, once the urge level has gone down and you be seeing me online-ing again. By then you already have guessed that i have either finish the game, put it on hold cause i got bored or i'm looking for another game to play.

latest version doesnt mean it's the best

I just got a brand new slim and lite psp this year, namely psp-2000. My baby is only 4 and a half months old. And it's free despite my protest to pay for it.

Okay, that's not the point. The main thing that i'm going to complain about is the latest psp release by sony!!!!

Just after slim was released bout a few months ago, sony just recently announced that there will be a new psp namely psp-3000 coming out soon!!!

Why la do this to me when i just recently bought it????

Dahlah know that you rasa tak puas, but still cant help to go do research on the latest psp =)

Sometimes i really wonder why i want to do all the things which might ended with me shooting myself. lol.

Okay, continue with my recent "research", the results are:

1. The difference in LCD screens. New LCD screens feature five times the contrast ratio and quicker pixel-response times than the old PSP display. Thus resulting in eliminating ghosting or blurring during gameplay and video playback (gamespot, 2008).

2. Psp 3000 has a built in mic which is really convenient if you tend to use video calls on psp skype.

3. Apparently the PSP 3000 has rounder edges compared to the previous model. Kononnya PSP-3000 systems now have a textured surface that provides better protection against fingerprints.

Thoughts :

The upgraded LCD screen is certainly very appealing. Better colour quality means better gameplay especially when you're playing in a bright lighted room or under the sun. Those annoying reflections can certainly get onto your nerves.

As for the built in mic, i seriously dont think it's necessary. Unless they are planning to create games which require you to speak through the mic during gameplay?

Lastly, rounded edges and better textured surface? Seriously, i got a feeling they are desperate to change the design but cant modify much. If you're afraid of finger prints just get a crystal case or a pouch or you can even wipe it if it's dirty. I would rather much prefer if they just focuses more on upgrading the specs or maybe the battery life than the design.

I'm quite disappointed in the changes honestly. I thought the latest version will leave me " woooow"or "ahhhh" but in the end it's just "har??? wtf"

Nope, i'm not emo bout the features or anything, i just feel like i just bought the 2000 version and here they are, happily released the 3000 version. It's that kind of feeling la. Sorry i dont really know how to explain it. They have just recently release 2000 version and they are going to released another 3000 version which in my perspective isnt that great in both design and hardware. Call me jealous or whatever, i have my right to complain.

And according to psp developers, psp 2000 will cease to exist starting from dunno when. That is soooo dumb. I still prefer my psp 2000 even though it's not upgraded with those ahem high technologies.

The name er is kind of i dunno off maybe?

It is a game where you take part-time jobs that are wacky mini-games. Playing them earns you money that you can then use to unlock more games and other items.

If this is for snes (super nintendo), then i can understand the graphics crappyness. But it's not. If the visual is slightly better i might take it into consideration.

In spite of the horrible graphics, i was quite surprise to find out that this game is quite popular. It earned a overall rating of 8/10.

I would definitely NOT download this game for my psp.

Juz found a new entertainment.

The good news is i dont have to buy nintendo ds anymore! I can play using a emulator. It's something like emulator king la. And it's actually illegal. But who cares?

Wanted to play the game for a bloody long time. Finally yes finally can play! But why la i didnt find it earlier?

Anyway this game is called rune factory: a fantasy harvest moon. Well if you like the harvest moon series, you can give this a try. It's not really the typical farming game. Now monsters are added to spice it up!

Actually i wanted to get a ps2 instead. However, i'm the only one playing at home. So no point.

They say nintendo lite is more appropriate for girls because they have more girly type of games. True though. Most of the games have very cute characters and graphics. Then again, i dont usually play many of those games also.
